The parts for this Mini Boring Head would appear very difficult to make but if the method I used is followed this is not the case.
A Milling head for the lathe. The model steam engine ”Tina” was made using this set up.
Tool height gauge with micrometer style calibration.
No item in my workshop has repaid for the time making it more than this Saddle Stop.
Tapping Stand with a controlled feed feature. Because of this there is no need to apply down feed pressure and the tap starts cleanly every time.
